I just finished my first Renfrew and was so excited I had to review right away. I have always hesitated to spend sewing time on something as basic as a tee shirt. It just seems like something that is cheap and easy to buy rtw. However, after spending all day shopping trying to find some basic tops that weren't too low in the neck, to sheer, too long, too tight in one place or another, too expensive, etc. I finally gave in and bought this pattern. It might be the best 10 dollars I ever spent! It took about an hour to cut out and sew and seriously, it fits perfect! Amazing! I am a pear-shaped lady and according to the body measurements for Sewaholic, a size 8. However, I cut the size 6 after looking at the finished garment measurements as i didn't want a whole lot of ease in a basic tee shirt. I sewed the whole thing on my serger so it was a super quick project. I like that all the edges are finished with bands as opposed to hemming. It makes a basic tee just a little nicer and more polished looking. As I said, the fit is great, its quick and easy to sew, and the pdf version makes it available instantly (yay!). I highly recommend this pattern and will be making many more of these.
