Product Description

The Pendrell blouse is a feminine semi-fitted top. Your choice of unique draped sleeves, flirty double ruffles or a classic sleeveless shell. A great addition to your wardrobe!

This blouse is designed with a pear-shaped figure in mind. Ruffles or sleeves add dimension at the shoulders, which balances out wider hips so they appear slim in comparison! Sizing is proportioned for a pear-shaped figure: smaller bust and waist, larger hips.

For View A, the draped sleeve is self-lined, so the pleats hang softly and there’s no hemming required. Both ruffles on View B are cut on the fold as well. Extra-long length in the body of the blouse makes it easy to tuck into skirts and pants comfortably. Princess seams elongate and flatter the body. Also, there is no closure! I wanted to have the best fit possible while eliminating zippers and buttons to keep it easy.

A fun, pretty way to dress up your basic skirts and trousers!

  1. I would like an army of these!

Lovely pattern, very versatile and a great wardrobe builder. I think it's a great pattern for beginners to practice working with those lightweight and tricky fabrics, as there are no closures. I went down a bit in size through the torso to make it more fitted but it still slips over the head. See my versions on my blog here:

  2. Great fit. No fasteners!

I have made 5 versions of this blouse. No one knows it because of the sleeve variations and fabric choice!
This is a great pattern for beginners as there are no zippers or buttons. Also, the neckline and armhole finishing are brilliant.

  3. Value plus

This is another fabulous blouse pattern - made both versions with sleeves - double frill from a seersucker and the puff sleeve from a cotton fabric. Made these with no alterations - perfect fit. Will be making more of these - they look great with jeans to feel more dressed up! Next time I make the puff sleeve version would use a fabric that has more drape so the sleeves fall a bit softer. Construction was easy to put together - great final result.
